Historic news from Marseille today. Monique - now such a celebrity she is known only be her first name -has won her 9 year court battle with the MPM (Marseille Provence Metropol) over compensation for injuries she suffered while slipping on dog poo.
It is apparently the City's responsibility to clean up the merde.
Good news for dog owner's I guess.
Does this give the dog owners of Marseille carte blanche (or carte brun?) to leave their dogs' poop lying around on the streets?
